OF SAANN PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
SHEILA DELIMONT
WHEREAS, Sheila Delimont served very ably as Acting Director of
Community Development for two periods In 1997 and 1998; and
WHEREAS, at this time, the Community Development Department had
only recently been formed through the combination of the Planning, Building and
Safety and Code Enforcement Divisions; and
WHEREAS, during the time of her service as Acting Director, not only had
the booming San Rafael economy generated more applications in land
development than at any time in the last two decades, but the department was
also recruiting to rill several key positions; and
WHEREAS, managing the Community Development Department in these
critical times required the utmost professionalism, which Sheila demonstrated as
she put in countless hours to ensure the smooth management of the department
until the new director could be hired.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of San Rafael, on behalf of all of its residents, hereby acknowledges Sheila
Delimont for exemplary service to the City of San Rafael.
