RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING $20,000.00 IN ADDITIONAL FUNDING
FOR THE B STREET RECREATION CENTER A.D.A. TOILET ROOMS
REMODEL PROJECT FROM THE GENERAL FUND OUT OF THE
1998/99 A.D.A. PROJECT ALLOCATION
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael as follows:
WHEREAS, staff began design work on the above-mentioned project in 1996;
WHEREAS, the initial construction costs of the above-mentioned project were
set at $57,000.00 in 1996; and
WHEREAS, said estimate did not include Design, Contingencies, Construction
Inspection, and Temporary Restroom Buildings;
WHEREAS, a complete and up-to-date estimate for construction of the project is
in the amount of $113,750.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council
does authorize $20,000 in additional funding.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Administrative Services Department be
authorized to allocate an additional $20,000.00 towards the project from the General
Fund, out of the 1998/99 A.D.A. project allocation, providing sufficient unencumbered,
budgeted appropriations exist in the fund account, against which the recommended
project will be charged as required by San Rafael Municipal Code Section 2.60.030.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works take any and
all such actions and make changes as may be necessary to accomplish the purpose of this
resolution.
I, Jeanne M. Leoncini, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City held on the 4" day of May, 1998, by the following
vote, to wit:
