RESOLUTION NO. 9924
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
KEN SPRAY
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council appoints two members to the San Rafael
Sanitation District Board pursuant to the County Sanitation District Act of
1937; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Boro and Councilmember Paul Cohen have been appointed to
serve on said Board; and
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Sanitation District is a separate, legal entity subject to all
regulations as they relate to financial accountability; and
WHEREAS, the District has utilized the expertise and skill of Mr. Ken Spray, Finance
Manager, for the Central Marin Sanitation Agency, to assist the District in
accomplishing its reporting obligations; and
WHEREAS, Ken has earned for the District a Certificate of Achievement for
Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers
Association; and
WHEREAS, this certificate acknowledges an agency's comprehensive annual financial
report as achieving the highest standards in government accounting and
financial reporting.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the San Rafael City Council hereby
acknowledges and congratulates Mr. Ken Spray for his attention to detail
and for his standards of excellence in achieving this prestigious award on
behalf of the San Rafael Sanitation District.
