RESOLUTION NO. 9932
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIA'T'ION
TO
TOM OBLETZ
WHEREAS, the San Rafael Federation of Neighborhoods represents a majority of
the neighborhoods located in that part of San Rafael that lies south of Puerto Suello Hi/l,-
and
WHEREAS, Tom Obletz has served as chairperson of that organization; and
WHEREAS, the Federation has helped to bring together the City and its residents
to discuss and attempt to resolve many issues involving their mutual interests; and
WHEREAS, due in a large part to the Federation's efforts, the City ofSan Rafael and
its residents have been able to focus on and address common causes, resulting in greater
involvement on the part of both entities in an attempt to increase the quality of life in San
Rafael,- and
WHEREAS, Tom is retiring as chairperson ofthis organization aftermanyproductive
years.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, on behalf ofall ofits residents, hereby acknowledges the contributions Tom Obletz
has made during his tenure as chairperson ofthe San Rafael Federation ofNeighborhoods
to form better bonds between the City of San Rafael and its residents.
