RESOLUTION NO. 9933
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
SH/RLEYFISCHER
WHEREAS, the North San Rafael Coalition of Residents is an organization that
strives to bind together the res/stents ofthat part ofthe City of San Rafael that Iles north of
Puerto Suello Hill,- and
WHEREAS, Shirley Fischer has served as chairperson and/or board member ofthe
Coalition since its formation; and
WHEREAS, the Coalition has been able to present to the City many of the issues
germane to those residents it represents and, in so doing, has fostered greater
communication concerning those issues; and
WHEREAS, because of its in volvement, the Coalition and the City have been able
to focus on common causes; and
WHEREAS, Shirley is stepping down as a member ofthe board ofthe Coalition after
many years of effort on its behalf.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, on behalf of a# of its residents, hereby acknowledges the contributions Shirley
Fischer has made during her time of service with the North San Rafael Coalition of
Residents in an effort to forge better bonds between the City ofSan Rafael and its residents
and hopes she will be able to continue in this effort.
