A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SAN RAFAEL RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 9843
AND TERMINATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE
FORMATION OF THE SAN RAFAEL DEL GANADO
MAINTENANCE ASSESSMENT DISTRICT 97-2; AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING TERNIINATION OF
AGREEMENT WITH MUNI FINANCIAL, INC.
REGARDING ASSESSMENT DISTRICT CONSULTING
SERVICES.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council hereby finds, based upon the results of a survey by mail
undertaken by the City, that there is insufficient support at this time to continue with proceedings
for formation of the San Rafael Del Ganado Maintenance Assessment District 97-2.
Section 2. The City Council hereby rescinds Resolution No. 9843 and terminates
proceedings under Streets and Highways Code sections 22500 et seq. for the formation of the San
Rafael Del Ganado Maintenance Assessment District 97-2.
Section 3. The City Council hereby authorizes and directs the City Manager to
terminate that certain agreement entered into between the City and Muni Financial, Inc., dated May
5, 1997, previously authorized under Resolution No. 9844 regarding assessment district consulting
services.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the San
Rafael City Council held on the 20''' day of October, 1997, by the following vote to wit:
