A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL APPROVING NORTH FRANCISCO STORM WATER
PUMP STATION DESIGN (CALTRANS) AND COMMENDING
CALTRANS' ENGINEERING STAFF FOR THEIR EFFORTS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael as follows:
WHEREAS, on June 1, 1992, the City Council accepted a status report on
the West Francisco Storm Drainage Master Plan; and
WHEREAS, on July 20, 1992, the City Council entered into an Agreement
with Caltrans to perform drainage work in association with the new pump station; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans are presently in the final stages of design for the new
pipe conduit under the freeway and new pump station; and
WHEREAS, Caltrans' engineering staff have been a pleasure to work with
and have been receptive to the aesthetic, maintenance and operations concerns of the City;
and
WHEREAS, the final pump station design has been approved by the
Design Review Board and Planning Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby approve the design of the North Francisco Blvd. Storm Water Pump
Station; and
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Council does hereby acknowledge
the efforts of Caltrans' engineering staff involved in this project and commend their
efforts in this design.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 20`h day of October, 1997, by the following vote, to wit:
