RESOLUTION NO. 9948
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
REBOWITION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
V7MI&AS, Michael Tompkins, Division Chief in the Fare Department has been
an employee of the City of San Rafael for 33 years; and
WHEREAS, Michael has served the City with honor and distinction; and
WTIEREAS, Michael has served in the capacity of Firefighter, Engineer, Captain,
Battalion Chief and Division Chief, and
WHEREAS, Michael has served all of those posts with the utmost zeal, pride and
distinction; and
WHEREAS, Michael has consistently displayed unfaltering loyalty to the City
and Fare Department; and
WHEREAS, Michael's retirement from the Fire Department will leave a huge void
to be filled;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the
City of San Rafael acknowledge Michael's excellent work and wish to express
their sincere gratitude, appreciation and best wishes to Michael Tompkins for a
happy, healthy and long retirement.
