A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SIGNING OF A
CONTRACT, LEASE OR AGREEMENT
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL RESOLVES as follows:
The MAYOR and CITY CLERK are authorized to execute, on behalf of the City of
San Rafael a contact, lease or agreement with
Marin Countv Community Development Agencv for child care staff salaries at
Pickleweed Children's Center, serving low income families in the amount of $10,400.
copies of which are hereby attached and by this reference made a part hereof.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCIlVI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at REGULAR
meeting of the City Council of said City held on MONDAY, the 17th

GOALS. TASKS. AND OBJECTIVES
The City of San Rafael will use CDBG funds to pay for staff salaries of child care providers who serve
the children of low income families. CDBG funds will be expended by December 31, 1998.

Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. At least 51 % of clients served with
CDBG funds will meet low income requirements established by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development.
