PRESENTS THIS
/ RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
/ 9HIfBACH
WHEREAS, Anh Bach has been employed as a Maintenance Worker in the Public
Works Department since January 26, 1987; and
WHEREAS, Anh performs all repairs and maintenance for the city's 1500 parking
meters, and his precise work and meticulous records have helped settle
disputes with unhappy people who have received parking tickets; and
WHEREAS, when all the parking meters had to be refit with new components to
allow a rate increase, and Anh was recuperating from injuries
sustained in an accident, he returned to work early in an "advisory"
position to train and supervise others, which enabled successful
completion of the project in less time than expected; and
WHEREAS, because of Anh's talent with fine mechanical apparatus, he has freely
and easily offered his assistance with other mechanical repairs outside
of his parking meter responsibility; and
WHEREAS, Anh inspires the best in others with his happy attitude and quiet
determination,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby designate Anh Bach as Employee of the Quarter for the
period ending Manch 31, 1997 and express sincere appreciation to Anh for his
dedication and outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
