A RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING THE LEASE PURCHASE OF A
PARAMEDIC AMBULANCE
FROM LEADER INDUSTRIES, INC.
(in amount of $95,346)
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council authorized Fire Department Staff to
solicit bid for a Paramedic Ambulance; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department, with the sanction of the City Attorney's Office,
joined with the Corte Madera Fire Department in the joint purchase of ambulance; and
WHEREAS, the bids have been reviewed by Fire Department Staff;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City Council that
the following action be taken:
That Leader Industries, Inc. be designated as the low responsible bidder for the
ambulance in the amount of $98,130, and that the Administrative Services Director lease
purchase the ambulance in amount of $95,346.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on 19th day of MAY , 1997,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS: Cohen, Heller, Miller, Phillips & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS: None
