RESOLUTION NO. 9849
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPREC;IA HUN
TO
COCA-COLA BOTTLING COMPANY OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, the City Council of San Rafael is the administrative body for the Marin
County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program; and .
WHEREAS, the Marin County Stormwater Pollution Prevention Program, on behalf of
the Bay Area Stormwater Management Agencies Association, has worked
with Coca-Cola Bottling Company of California to design a stormwater
pollution prevention message for cans of soft drinks; and
WHEREAS, the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of California has placed such an ad on
over 26 million cans of Diet Coke and Sprite distributed throughout
Northern California.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby express their sincere appreciation for outstanding and
innovative measures designed to increase public awareness on protection
of local waterways and the Bay.
