Resolution Appropriating $20,000 in Parkland Dedication
funds for Bernard Hoffman Park Play Area Development.
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council is in the final negotiation phase to
acquire the Bernard Hoffman ballfield site from the Dixie School District, and
WHEREAS, the City Council received a donation commitment of $60,000
to build a children's play area at the Bernard Hoffman site, and
WHEREAS, the community is supporting the concept of a play area at the
site, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to help expedite the project and agreed to
commit $20,000 in Parkland Dedication funds to the play area development.
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of San Rafael does
hereby authorize an appropriation of $20,000 from Parkland Dedication Fund 271
for Bernard Hoffman Park Play Area Development.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
21st day of JULY ,1997, by the following vote, to wit:
