RESOLUTION NO. 9891
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
FIRS CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH
WHEREAS, the First Congregational Church of San Rafael, the City of San Rafael, the
Federal Head Start Program and the Pell Development Company have
worked together to sponsor a new Head Start program; and
WHEREAS, this exciting collaboration between the religious community, government and
private industry has resulted in the formation of a child care facility to be
housed at the church at 8 North San Pedro Road; and
WHEREAS, this child care facility will accommodate 28 preschool children; and
WHEREAS, the grand opening and dedication ofthe program will take place on Saturday,
September 13, 1997
NOW, THEREFORE, BEITRESOL VED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael, on
behalf ofall of its residents, hereby extends its appreciation for the efforts of
all those involved in bringing this project to fruition.
