A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL APPROVING THE REVISED 1996/97 BUDGET FOR THE
INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIVISION INCLUDING AUTHORIZATION TO
HIRE NEW PERSONNEL
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of San Rafael has
appropriated funds in the 1996/97 General Fund Budget to meet the
Information Systems needs of the City, and
WHEREAS, the City has in the past contracted for Information
Systems and Services, and
WHEREAS, it is the intention of the City Council to develop a
new Information Services Division by employing individuals to
provide data processing and telecommunications services.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City's Information
Systems Division be established utilizing funds currently
appropriated in the 1996/97 Budget, including the authorization to
recruit for Information Systems personnel.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the City
Council of said City held on Tuesdav the 21st
day of January , 19 97 , by the following vote, to wit:
