RESOLUTION NO. 9786
RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROVING THE REMOVAL OF A ONE(1) FOOT NON ACCESS STRIP AT THE
END OF TRINITY WAY SHOWN ON MAP OF TERRA LINDA
SUBDIVISION NO. 11, SAN RAFAEL, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of San Rafael, State of
California, did on September 14, 1993, approve the two lot subdivision at the end of Trinity Way
between Freitas Parkway belonging to the Roman Catholic Archbishop of San Francisco; and
WHEREAS, one of the lots was approved for affordable senior housing, known
at that time as " Mercy Housing"; and
WHEREAS, a parcel map for the affordable senior housing was later recorded
entitled "Map of Maria B. Freitas Senior Housing" at the County Recorder's Office on May 30,
1996, in Book 26 Maps at Page 11; and
WHEREAS, the affordable housing is now under construction; and
WHEREAS, the map entitled "Map of Terra Linda Subdivision No.I I" recorded
on March 23, 1960, in Volume 10 of Maps at Page 54, shows a one (1) foot non access strip at
the end of the existing Trinity Way; and
WHEREAS, the existing Trinity Way will be used as one of the accesses to the
affordable senior housing, when completed.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of San Rafael, California, to approve the removal of the one(1) foot non access strip at the
end of Trinity Way shown in the recorded map of Terra Linda Subdivision No. 11.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, California, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the Council of said City held on the 3rd day of February, 1997, by the following vote, to wit:
