RESOLUTION NO. 9789
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Carol Dillon
WHEREAS, Carol Dillon is a founding member of the Volunteer
Program Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the Volunteer Program Advisory Committee was
instrumental in creating the City of San Rafael Volunteer program; and
WHEREAS, the Volunteer Program Advisory Committee
developed the following mission statement as an essential guide to the
direction of the Volunteer Program:
The mission of the Volunteer Program of the City of San Rafael
is to create a bridge among the City, the community and volunteers to
enhance the quality of life in our City; and
WHEREAS, the Volunteer Program is today a program integrated
into every aspect of the government of the City of San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the leadership, advise and guidance provided by
Carol Dillon, was invaluable in formulating a successful Volunteer
Program; and
WHEREAS, the Council recognizes the continuing hard work and
dedication of Carol Dillon to volunteer efforts in the City of San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the
Mayor and City Council of San Rafael hereby express their sincere
appreciation to Carol Dillon for her outstanding volunteer service to the
City of San Rafael.
