CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
YOLANDA GIBSON
WHEREAS, Yolanda Gibson has been a member of the Marin County Mediation
Services Advisory Committee since 1984; and
• WHEREAS, Yolanda has been a zealous fund-raiser for Mediation Services,
and she has also spent many hours volunteering as a translator and interpreter for the
agency; and
WHEREAS, she put in many enthusiastic hours to help make the City's Operation
Pride cleanup day in the Canal a success; and
WHEREAS, Yolanda assists Latino parishioners at St. Rafael's Church, as well.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, on behalf of all of its residents, hereby acknowledges the contributions Yolanda
Gibson has made to the betterment of life in our city, not only through her etfrirts as a
volunteer with Mediation Services butalso through herassistanae with ourLatino residents,
many of whom are from the Canal area.
