CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
ROSA MAR14 HA MEN
WHEREAS, Rosa Maria Hayden has been both a mediation volunteerand a member
of the Mediation Services Advisory Committee for Marla County Mediation Services since
1992; and
WHEREAS, since she is bilingual in Spanish and English, Rosa Maria has been of
great assistance to Mediation Services in helping Latino clients; and
WHEREAS, Rosa Maria's ability to handle the inquiries and problems that come in
on the Spanish language telephone is a great aid to Mediation Services, and
WHEREAS, she spent a great deal of time helping with the City s Operation Pride
cleanup day in the Canal, and
WHEREAS, Rosa Maria has also made numerous rental property inspections for
tenants and landlords in the Canal area and has assisted Mediation staff with mediations
Involving Latino clients.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOL VED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael, on behalf of all of its residents, hereby acknowledges the many helpful
contributions, particularly through her bilingual skills, that Rosa Maria Hayden has made to
those San Rafael residents in the Canal area while working with Mediafion Services.
