RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AUTHORIZING APPOINTMENT OF KENNETH NORDHOFF
AS CITY TREASURER
WHEREAS, the Office of City Treasurer for the City of San Rafael became vacant
as of August 24, 1996, due to the resignation of Ransom Coleman; and
WHEREAS, on August 5, 1996, the City Council appointed Rod Gould, City
Manager, as Interim City Treasurer; and
WHEREAS, the City has now hired Kenneth Nordhoff as Administrative Services
Director; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has the authority to appoint a City Treasurer pursuant
to Article VI, Section 11 of the San Rafael City Charter.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Kenneth Nordhoff is hereby
appointed as City Treasurer to perform all functions of the City Treasurer as designated in
the San Rafael City Charter and San Rafael Municipal Code.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting
of the City Council of said City held on Monday, the fourth day of November, 1996, by the
following vote, to wit:
