A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
SAN RAFAEL ESTABLISHING A BAIL SCHEDULE FOR
VIOLATIONS OF THE SAN RAFAEL MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, Penal Code Section 1269b requires the County Courts to adopt an annual
countywide bail schedule which includes bail amounts set by municipalities for municipal code
violations; and
WHEREAS, the Presiding Judge of the Marin County Courts has requested the City of
San Rafael to advise the Presiding Judge of the bail amounts set by the City of San Rafael for
violations of the San Rafael Municipal Code;
NOW THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council as follows:
(1) The Bail Schedule for violations of provisions of the San Rafael Municipal Code shall be as
set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
(2) The City Clerk is directed to forthwith transmit a copy of this Resolution to the Presiding
Judge of the Marin County Courts.

resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of said City
Council held on the 18 th day of NOVEMBER , 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
