A Resolution of the City Council of the City of San Rafael Approving
a Tennis Key System for San Rafael Tennis Courts
WHEREAS, The City of San Rafael owns and maintains tennis courts city
wide, and
WHEREAS, funding for maintenance of recreation and park facilities city
wide has suffered from budget cuts, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed ideas for
revenue generation for tennis court maintenance in response to community
concerns, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission recommends the City
Council approve a tennis key system for Albert and Frietas Parks, and
WHEREAS, the Park and Recreation Commission recommends the City
Council designate a new account for deposit of the funds which are to be used for
maintenance of tennis courts.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael does hereby approve a Tennis Key System and authorize establishing a
new account for revenue and expenditures for tennis court maintenance.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the 21st
day of OCTOBER , 1996, by the following , vote, to wit:
