CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF APPRECIATION
TO
RANNOM COL EMAN
WHEREAS, Randy Co%man has been employed by the City of San Rafael Owe August 1 of 1977; and
WHEREAS, duringthattimeRandyhas demonstrated fiscalconsenyatism, exemplaryleadershlpandpersonal
initiative in the arenas ofinvestments, revenue analysis, development ofmoniioring systems forsa/es tax, and similar
areas ofresponsibiNjI,, which have served the City well in these chaotic times,* and
WHEREAS, Randy has exhibited creativity and flexibility in his role of budget development and preparation.
These halts have been invaluable in times offiscal unpredictability,• and
WHEREAS, Randy has gained the respectandsupportofthe community, demonstrating an abllltytodeal with
public comments and concerns in a professional manner,• and
WHEREAS, Rand

organ/zadons such as the California Society OfMunicipa/Finance 0#501s,' and
WHEREAS, Randy's dry sense ofhumor, honestyand integrity have made him an esteemed and respected
member ofthe Cfly' management team who will be sorely missed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE/T RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael, on behalfofallOfIts
residents, hereby commends Randy Co%man forhls years ofexcellentsente to the QyofSan Rafae/as our Finance
Directorand wishes him well in his new position.
