RESOLUTION NO. 9673
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOWITION OF IIPPRECIdTION
TO
ENRICO ABRUZZO
WHEREAS, the mission of the Volunteer Program of the
City of San Rafael is to create a partnership between salaried
staff and volunteers to enhance the quality of life in our City; and
WHEREAS, on May 11, 1996, the Volunteer Program of
the City of San Rafael sponsored its first city-wide Clean-up
Day; and
WHEREAS, Enrico Abruzzo, co-founder of TAG
(Together Against Graffiti), was instrumental in organizing the
removal of graffiti in downtown San Rafael; and
WHEREAS, as a result of his leadership and
organizational abilities, over 180 volunteers participated in the
downtown clean-up project; and
WHEREAS, the Council recognizes the continuing hard
work and dedication of Enrico Abruzzo in eradicating graffiti in
the City of San Rafael.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED
that the Mayor and City Council of San Rafael hereby express
their sincere appreciation to Enrico Abruzzo for his outstanding
volunteer service to the City of San Rafael.
