CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOMITION OF 11PPRECETION
TO
RAY COX
WHEREAS, the mission of the Volunteer Program of the
City of San Rafael is to create a partnership between salaried
staff and volunteers to enhance the quality of life in our City; and
WHEREAS, on May 11, 1996, the Volunteer Program of
the City of San Rafael sponsored its first city-wide Clean-up
Day; and
WHEREAS, Ray Cox, Montecito Area Clean-up Day
Chairman, organized over 20 volunteers in the removal of weeds
and trash from the Montecito neighborhood, and
WHEREAS, the Council recognizes the continuing hard
work and dedication of Ray Cox to preserving the quality of life
in the Montecito neighborhood.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED
that the Mayor and City Council of San Rafael hereby express
their sincere appreciation to Ray Cox for his outstanding
volunteer service to the City of San Rafael.
