CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOI&OTION OF 11PPRECUITION
TO
MIKE MCGUIRE
WHEREAS, the mission of the Volunteer Program of the
City of San Rafael is to create a partnership between salaried
staff and volunteers to enhance the quality of life in our City; and
WHEREAS, on May 11, 1996, the Volunteer Program of
the City of San Rafael sponsored its first city-wide Clean-up
Day; and
WHEREAS, Mike McGuire, Terra Linda Site Co -
Coordinator, organized over 25 neighborhood volunteers into a
major clean-up effort of the Terra Linda Recreation Center
grounds and community public pathways, and
WHEREAS, the Council recognizes the continuing hard
work and dedication of Mike McGuire to preserving the quality
of life in Terra Linda.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED
that the Mayor and City Council of San Rafael hereby express
their sincere appreciation to Mike McGuire for his outstanding
volunteer service to the City of San Rafael.
