A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL AUTHORIZING APPROPRIATION UP TO $1,000 FOR
THE PREPARATION OF SKETCH PLANS TO LANDSCAPE A
PORTION OF DEL GANADO ROAD.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of San Rafael as follows:
WHEREAS, the Santa Margarita Homeowners' Association is desirous of
considering the formation of an assessment district to finance the construction of
landscaping and other improvements on Del Ganado Road; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous of facilitating the decision
making process of the Santa Margarita Homeowners; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council has expressed a desire to form partnerships
with any homeowners' associations willing to take the lead in improving City facilities;
and,
WHEREAS, this expenditure of funds will assist the Santa Margarita
Homeowners' Association in the deliberations to improve City facilities.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
San Rafael hereby authorizes the expenditure of up to $1,000 from unappropriated
reserves to fund the preparation of preliminary landscaping plans on Del Ganado Road.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of
the Council of said City on the 1` day of July, 1996, by the following vote, to wit:
