CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESChUTION DF 11PPRECUITION
TO
LINDSAY MARTIN
WHEREAS, Lindsay began working as a Tiny Tot Instructor in the City of San Rafael's
Recreation Department on March 7, 1967, and has been the Child Care Center
Director since starting tine pre-school program at Short School in fitly, 1980; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay is constantly seeking innovative ways to solve problems, improve programs,
and support her staff; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay has worked with many families in crisis, helping them through rough spots
while treating theta fairly and with respect; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay is always available to others, offering advice and ideas or just (ming a
sympathetic listener; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay's professional attitude and appearance inspire professionalism ill other
employees,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Cotnncil of tine City of San
Rafael hereby designate Lindsay Martin as the Employee of the Quarter for the period ending
December 31, 1995 and express sincere appreciation to Lindsay for her many years of dedication and
outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
