RESOLUTION NO. 9571
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
TO
LINDSAY MARTIN
WIILREAS, Lindsay is senior employee and the Grande Dante of the Child Care Department,
having been with the department since March 7,1967; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay's positive example ltas contributed to raising the level of profi'sslonahsm ill
the field of Child Care, and
WHEREAS, Lindsay is constantly looking for ways to better herself, Short Preschool, the Child
Care Division and the Recreation Department, and she remains fresh, innovative and
open in Iter approach to her job; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay has volunteered numerous hours of Iter personal time in the following
organizations: Marin Association for the Education of Young Children, Early
Childhood Resources, Marin Consortium for Quality Care, and High Scope. In
addition, she was recognized in 1995 by the Volunteer Center of Marin; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay is well known in and around San Rafael as an encouraging, kind and loving
preschool teacher, and her dedication and devotion to others have made a positive
impact oil countless lives,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that file Manor and City Council of the City of San
Rulfirl hey-chy designate Lindsay Martin as the E►nployee of the Yearfir 1995 and express sincere
