RESOLUTION NO. 9456
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF i1PPRECIRTION
TO
PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY
WHEREAS, the San Rafael community came together to describe the
Downtown they desired in Our Vision of Downtown San
Rafael; and
WHEREAS, tsle community Vision includes beautiful, tree lined streets
Cut are pleasant to walk; and
WHEREAS, a stalwart group of volunteers declared themselves to be the
organization Downtown Trees, and gathered community
efforts to plant 100 street trees; and
WHEREAS, Pacific Gas and Electric Company demonstrated their
community spirit by assisting in the selection of appropriate
tree species, donating planting materials, providing
employment to local youth, and encouraging their employees
to shovel dirt and plant trees.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council, on
behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Pacific Gas and Electric Company for their efforts in
making Our Vision for Downtown San Rafael come alive.
