BARBARA HELLER
WHEREAS, the San Rafael community came together to describe the
Dcv%-ntown they desired in Our Vision of Downtown San
Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the community Vision includes beautiful, tree lined streets
that are pleasant to walk; and
WHEREAS, stalwart group of volunteers declared themselves to be the
:)rganization Downtown Trees, and gathered community
efforts to plant 100 street trees; and
WHEREAS, Barbara was a founding member of Downtown Trees and was a
MFIjor player in the Fundraising activities; and
WHEREAS, Barbara convinced many volunteers that planting trees was
fun, and was a graceful and gracious spokesperson for this
community event.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council, on
behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Barbara Heller for her efforts in making Our
Vision for Downtown San Rafael come alive.
