RESOLUTION NO. 9465
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESGIAITION OF dPPRECI[ITION
TO
CYR MILLER
WHEREAS, the San Rafael community came together to describe the
Downtown they desired in Our Vision of Downtown San
Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the community Vision includes beautiful, tree lined streets
that are pleasant to walk; and
WHEREAS, a stalwart group of volunteers declared themselves to be the
organization Downtown Trees, and gathered community
efforts to plant 100 street trees; and
WHEREAS, Cyr Miller, in his love of community, invented this whole
project and single handedly made it happen; and
WHEREAS, Cyr left no stone unturned, no arm untwisted, no favor
unasked, no contribution unsolicited, no avenue unexplored
in his zeal to serve his community; and
WHEREAS, Cyr Miller is an outstanding individual and celebrator of
community, and is sincerely loved by all who know him.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council, on
behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Cyr Miller for their efforts in making Our Vision
for Downtown San Rafael come alive.
