RESOLUTION NO. 9467
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
REBOhOTION OF dPPRECIdTION
TO
MARIN RESOURCE RECOVERY
WHEREAS, the San Rafael community came together to describe the
Downtown they desired in Our Vision of Downtown San
Rafael; and
WHEREAS, the community Vision includes beautiful, tree lined streets
that are pleasant to walk; and
WHEREAS, a stalwart group of volunteers declared themselves to be the
organization Downtown Trees, and gathered community
efforts to plant 100 street trees; and
WHEREAS, Marin Resource Recovery demonstrated yet again their
committment to community spirit by donating planting
materials, by accepting and recycling debris from the program,
contributing generous financial support, and distributing
information on the project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and City Council, on
behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Marin Resource Recovery for their efforts in
making Our Vision for Downtown San Rafael come alive.
