Resolution of the City Council of the City of San Rafael
allocating $40,000. from the Park and Recreation Facilities Fund and loaning
an additional $41,200. to the Albert Park Community Project for Tennis for
the Albert Park Tennis Court Resurfacing
WHEREAS, The San Rafael City Council approved the Albert Park
Community Project for Tennis and the proposed fundraising strategy, and
WHEREAS, the project cost estimate is $81,200. and the fundraising
strategy is a combination of $40,000 in park funds and $41,200. from community
fundraising, and
WHEREAS, the Albert Park Community Project for Tennis Committee has
worked hard to generate community support for the project, and
WHEREAS, the Committee will fundraise to generate the match funds for
the project of $41,200. by December 1996.
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael does hereby authorize $40,000. from the Park and Recreation
Facilities Fund and an additional $41,200 loan for the Albert Park
Community Project for Tennis.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
2nd day of OCTOBER ,1995, by the following vote, to wit:
