PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
MARY JEAN K1VIGIYT
WHEREAS, Mary Jean Knight began working as a Police Records Clerk I on May
30, 1989, and transferred to the Finance Department on February 1,
1993, where she worked as an Account Clerk II prior to reclassification
to her current position as Secretary; and
WHEREAS, Mary Jean is an extremely conscientious employee who has spent much
of her own time taking classes to improve her computer skills, and also
trying to find ways to streamline operations in the department; and
WHEREAS, Mary Jean strives to create a cheerful atmosphere in the office and for
the public, using her wonderful sense of humor to the benefit of all; and
WHEREAS, for the past three years, Mary Jean has demonstrated her level of
commitment by working overtime and on weekends as needed to type
the annual budget document in a timely manner while coping with
numerous last minute changes,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City
of San Rafael hereby designate Mary Jean Knight as Employee of the Quarter
for the period ending September 30, 1995 and express sincere appreciation to Mary
Jean for her dedication and outstanding service to the City of San Rafael.
