RESOLUTION OF THE SAN RAFAEL CITY COUNCIL
AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 8161
TO APPOINT THE FINANCE DIRECTOR
OR HIS DESIGNEE TO REPRESENT AND
APPEAR IN THE SMALL CLAIMS COURT ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
WHEREAS, it is desirable to appoint an agent to represent the
City of San Rafael whenever necessary as the City representative in
filing Small Claims actions on behalf of the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Finance Director is responsible for the City's
Accounts Receivable.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Finance
Director or his designee is hereby appointed to represent and
appear for said City in the lawful process of any and all claims
filed in said Court, and is further authorized and empowered to
accept service of process issued by said Court, for and on behalf
of said City.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the
Council of said City held on the 20.th day of November, 1995,
by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBE.RS: Cohen, Heller, Zappetini and Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCI.LMEMBERS: None
