RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN
RAFAEL ACCEPTING GRANT DEED FOR AN EXCLUSIVE
ROADWAY AND PEDESTRIAN EASEMENT FROM MARIN-
SONOMA INVESTMENT COMPANY
WHEREAS, the public interest, convenience, necessity and
welfare require that the esaement hereinafter mentioned be accepted and used
for the benefit of the public of the City of San Rafael, California;
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the
City Council of the City of San Rafael, California, that that certain grant deed
for an exclusive roadway and pedestrian easement, executed by Marin -
Sonoma Investment Company, a California corporation, to the City of San
Rafael, dated September 6, 1995, be and the same is hereby accepted and the
Clerk of said City is hereby directed to cause said conveyance to be duly
recorded in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Marin, State
of California, forthwith upon the adoption of this resolution.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
California, hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of the said City
held on the 20th day of November, 1995, by the following vote, to wit:

BEING a portion of lot number 6 in Block 23, as shown and
delineated and so designated on the map entitled, "Plat of
the Townsite of the Town of San Rafael in the County of
Marin, State of California", filed October 14, 1873, Marin
County Records, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the East line of B Street as shown
on said map. Distance 12.00' southerly from the intersection
of the South line of Sixth Street (Mission Avenue) with the
East line of B Street as shown on said map; thence from said
POINT OF BEGINNING in a northerly direction along the East
line of B Street 12.00' to the intersection of the South line
of Sixth Street with the East line of B Street; thence
easterly along the South line of Sixth Street 12.00'; thence
leaving said line of Sixth Street in a southwesterly
direction 17' more or less, to the POINT OF BEGINNING.
