RESOLUTION NO. 9396
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESGUITION OF ftPPREC1AT10N
TO
EDITH HEIDTKE
WHEREAS, Edith has been employed in the Administration/
Engineering Division of the Public Works Department
since October of 1982, starting as Typist Clerk II and
advancing to her present position of Senior Secretary;
and
WHEREAS, throughout her career with the City of San Rafael, Edith
has consistently approached her work with patience,
thoroughness and good humor, while managing with
relative ease an extremely diverse and complex workload.
She was very effective in dealing with the public and
patient in explaining departmental policy to them; and
WHEREAS, Edith was always tolerant, understanding and considerate
of others while, at the same time, taking an interest in
all of her co-workers; and
WHEREAS, Edith always brought a positive attitude to work each day
which helped contribute to the morale of the office and
those around her; and
WHEREAS, Edith's loyalty to the Public Works Department and the
City as a whole was much appreciated.
NOW THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of
the City of San Rafael wish to express their sincere gratitude,
appreciation and best wishes to Edith Heidtke for "Good Fishing"
and for a happy, healthy and long retirement.
