RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
REJECTING BIDS FOR PROJECT ENTITLED
"REPAIR AND REPAINTING OF PICKLEWEED RECREATION CENTER"
PROJECT NO. 219-6619-122
WHEREAS, the San Rafael City Council has previously authorized City
Staff to solicit bids for the Repair and Repainting of Pickleweed Recreation
Center; and
WHEREAS, plans and specifications were prepared and bids solicited for
said work; and
and
WHEREAS, on July 11, 1995 , bids were received and publicly opened;
WHEREAS, There were serious irregularities with the two lowest
bidders and the other bids were substantially more expensive and
WHEREAS, the city reserves the right to reject any and all bids;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
San Rafael rejects all those bids received on July 11, 1995, for the Repair and
Repainting of the Pickleweed Recreation Center, and authorizesStaff to rebid the
project.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a
regular meeting of the Council of said City on the 7th day of August, 1995, by the
following vote, to wit:
