RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING PROJECT FUNDING FROM GENERAL FUND WITH
PAYBACK FROM N.P.D.E.S. PROGRAM FOR CLORINDA AVENUE
DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, an existing 24" diameter corrugated metal pipeline in
Clorinda Avenue has corroded and partially collapsed; and
WHEREAS, the pipeline runs under the front yards and driveways of
adjacent houses; and
WHEREAS, the pipeline forms an integral part of the drainage system for
the upper reaches of the Bret Harte Basin; and

WHEREAS, the situation needs to be addressed promptly as an urgent
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED AND RESOLVED that
the City Council of the City of San Rafael authorizes that the project be temporarily
funded out of the general fund and that the monies be paid back out of the N.P.D.E.S.
Program later in the year.
IT IS FURTHER ORDERED AND RESOLVED that staff are authorized to
call for bids when the plans and specifications are completed.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a regular
meeting of the Council of said City on Tuesday, the 5`h day of September, 1995, by the
following vote, to wit:
