CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOMITION OF APPRECIATION
TO
Linda Beffatorre
` WEREU in lune, 1993, Our Vision of Downtown San Rafael was
presented to the San Rafael City Councif, and
%WEREU the San Rafael City Council determined amendments were needed
to male the San Rafael Genera(Plan and Zoning Ordinance consistent with the Vision, and
gWEREU Linda Beflatorre has served Downtown as a Vision veteran,
having served on the Downtown Community Plan Committee which wrote Our Vision, as weff as
the Downtown Advisor Group's cousin committee, the Downtown Vision Committee, and as a
former San Rafael Planning Commissioner, and -
%WERE.0 in ?august, 1993, Linda was appointed by the San Rafael City
Council to the Downtown Advisor Group charged with translating Our Vision into GenerafPlan
policies and Zoning Ordinance regufations, and
7WEREU Linda has served as co-chair for the Downtown Advisor Group,
offered vafuabfe perspectives on preserving our historic heritage and on respecting the
neighborhoods, and served on numerous subcommittees to work out specks of the Downtown
Advisor Group's recommendations, and

,WWER AS,, in May, 1995, Linda and the other members of the Downtown
Advisor Group presented to the City Council recommendations which wiff allow in Downtown
the type of changes and activity promoted in Our Vision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of San Rafaef, on behalf of aff its citizens, hereby e;rress sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Linda for her time, spirit and continuing commitment to the future of Downtown.
