PRESENTS THIS
RESOLUTION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
Carolyn Camp
IWEREAS, in lune, 1993, Our Vision of Downtown San Rafael was
presented to the San Rafael City Councif,, and
'YWERE.fIS, the San Rafael City Council determined amendments were needed
to mase the San Rafael General Plan and Zoning Ordinance consistent with the Vision, and
'WhfER,EAS, Carolyn Camp has served Downtown as a Downtown business
owner and member of the Downtown Business Improvement District, and
qWEREaS, in August, 1993, Carolyn was appointed by the San Rafael City
Council to the Downtown Advisor_ Group_ charged with transfating Our Vision into General Plan
poricies and Zoning Ordinance regulations, and
IWXEREAS, Carolyn has provided knowledge of the needs of retail businesses
on Fourth Street, and
"`}-rEREAS, in May, 1995, Carofyn and the other members of the Downtown
Advisor Group presented to the City Council recommendations which wiff affow in Downtown
the type of changes and activity promoted in Our Vision.
NOW, TXEREFORE, BE IT RE50LVLD that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of San Rafael, on behalf of aff its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Carolyn for her contributions of time and effort to the future of Downtown.
