PRESENTS THIS
RESOMITION OF 11PPRECUITION
TO
Stan Ott
`WEREU in lune, 1993, Our Vision of Downtown San Rafael was
presented to the San Rafael City Councifand
` WEREU the San Rafael City Council determined amendments were needed
to make the San Rafael General Plan and Zoning Ordinance consistent with the Vision, and
`WEER AS, Stan Ott has served Downtown as a neighborhood representative
for the Terra Linda community, and
'PWEREU in August, 1993, Stan was appointed by the San Rafael City
Council to the Downtown Advisor Group charged with translating Our Vision into General Plan
policies and Zoning Ordinance regulations, and
`WHEREAS, Stan has shared his considerable expertise in the field of planning
and knowledge in the history of Downtown San Rafae(and
`W EREU in May, 1995, Stan and the other members of the Downtown
Advisor Group presented to the City Council recommendations which will allow in Downtown
the type of changes and activity promoted in Our Vision.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council
of the City of San Rafaefon behalf of all its citizens, hereby express sincere appreciation and
gratitude to Stan for his considerable contribution of time and effort.
