RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
APPROPRIATING $11,097 IN UNRESTRICTED GRANT FUNDS
FOR VARIOUS COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH
LIBRARY AUTOMATION AND LIBRARY IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, The San Rafael Public Library has received grants from the California
State Library for its Family Literacy Program and its Literacy Program at San Quentin
Prison, and
WHEREAS, Those grants provide 8% of the grant amount for indirect costs to be
used at the discretion of the Library, and
WHEREAS, The Library has absorbed the indirect costs for administration of said
grants from its operating budget, and wishes to use those funds for various items
associated with library automation and library improvements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby appropriates $11,097 in unrestricted grant funds for various costs
associated with library automation and library improvements.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, City Clerk of the City of San Rafael hereby certify
that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular
meeting of the City Council of said City held on Tuesdav the Twentv-First day of
February , 1995, by the folllowing vote to wit:
