CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
PRESENTS THIS
RESOWITION OF 11PPRECIRTION
TO
DAVID NATTRESS
WHEREAS, David Nattress has been employed in the Public Works Department since October
1, 1985 and was promoted to Maintenance Worker III on May 1, 1989; and
WHEREAS, David is a highly motivated employee who demonstrates proficiency in carrying
out his assigned duties without requiring supervision;
WHEREAS, David shows interest in his work and routinely strives to do a job of which he can
be proud; and
WHEREAS,
David is aware of his role as it relates to the safety and well being of our
community and he does not hesitate to go beyond the call of duty, as recently
demonstrated in August 1994 when David assisted in attacking a structure fire
until the firefighters arrived, which undoubtedly saved the homeowner from a
much greater loss; and
WHEREAS, David is to be commended for his hard work, cooperative attitude and concern
for others.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Council of the City of San
Rafael hereby designate David Nattress as Employee of the Quarter for the period ending
September 30, 1994 and express sincere appreciation to David for his dedication and outstanding
service to the City of San Rafael and the community.
