RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING
THE BID OF 3-T EQUIPMENT COMPANY AND ACCEPTING THE BID OF GCS, INC,
FOR PURCHASE OF ONE NEW SEWER CLEANING MACHINE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the City's approved Equipment
Replacement Budget, specifications were drawn and bids solicited
for one new sewer cleaning machine for the Public Works Department;
and
and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on June 23, 1994;
WHEREAS, the bid of 3-T Equipment Company, while being
the lowest bid, did not comply with the specifications as bid; and
WHEREAS, the bid of GCS, Inc., was the next lowest
responsible bid received in compliance with the specifications.
NOW THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of San Rafael that the bid of 3-T Equipment Company is
rejected and the bid of GSC, Inc, is accepted for the price of
$167,204.87 as set forth in their bid dated June 22, 1994.
I JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Monday, the 18th day of July,1994, by the following vote,
to wit:
