RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO APPLY TO THE FOLLOWING FOUNDATIONS,.
CORPORATIONS AND GOVERNMENT AGENCIES TO SUPPORT THE ONGOING
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND CAPITAL CAMPAIGN OF
FALKIRK CULTURAL CENTER:
Institute of Museum Services, Marin Community Foundation, California Council for the
Humanities, Kresge Foundation, Lannon Foundation, LEF Foundation, LucasArts
Entertainment, Marin Arts Council, Bank of Marin, WestAmerica Bank, Cowell Foundation
and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
WHEREAS, the aforementioned foundations, government agencies and corporations
grant funding to arts and humanities organizations for exhibitions, educational support and
capital projects; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center provides a rich and varied program of exhibitions
and educational programs for our diverse cultural community; and
WHEREAS, Falkirk Cultural Center staff wishes to apply to the aforementioned
organizations for support of ongoing programs, operations and capital projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of San Rafael
hereby authorizes staff at the Falkirk Cultural Center to apply to the aforementioned
organizations for grant support for programs, operations and capital support.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby certify that the
foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted at a Regular meeting of the
City Council of said City held on Monday, the 2nd of May , 1994 by the following vote to wit:
