Resolution authorizing loan of $40,000. from the
Parkland Dedication Fund to the Marin Bocce Federation for the
Albert Park Renovation Project.
WHEREAS, The San Rafael City Council approved an allocation of $50,000
from the Parkland Dedication Fund for the Bocce Court complex at Albert Park,
and
WHEREAS, the Marin Bocce Federation project construction and
fundraising is proceeding successfully with donations of labor, materials and
supplies, and
WHEREAS, the Marin Bocce Federation wishes to borrow $40,000 to cover
the immediate bill for the court synthetic surfacing, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to help expedite the project and assist the
Federation ,
Now, therefore, be it resolved that the City Council of the City of San
Rafael does hereby authorize an advance f rcm the Parkland Dedication
Fund of $40,000 to the Marin Bocce Federation.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of City of San Rafael, hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of said City held on the
6th day of June ,1994, by the following vote, to wit:
