A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF SAN RAFAEL REJECTING ALL BIDS FOR
THE MERRYDALE OVERCROSSING PROJECT AND
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO REBID
WHEREAS, the the City Council authorized staff to call for bids
for the Merrydale Overcrossing on March 7, 1994; and
WHEREAS, bids were opened on June 1, 1994; and
WHEREAS, eight bids were received six of which contained
irregularities; and
WHEREAS, the low bid was formally protested; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney reviewed the protest and
recommended to reject all bids.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that the bids received for the Merrydale Overcrossing Project are
hereby rejected, and that staff is authorized to P gain call for bids for this
project.
I, JEANNE. M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael, hereby
certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly introduced and
adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said City on Monday, the 20th
day of June, 1994, by the following vote, to wit:

Mayor Boro
