A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAN RAFAEL
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF TWO NEW AMBULANCES FROM EXCELLANCE,
INC. (in the amount of $176,676.00).
WHEREAS, in accordance with duly authorized approval,
specifications were drawn and bids solicited for two new ambulances
for the Fire Department's Emergency Medical Services Division; and
and
WHEREAS, bids were received and opened on June 21, 1994;
WHEREAS, the bid of Excellance, Inc., of Madison, Alabama
was the only responsible bid received; and
WHEREAS, after review of the bid documents, it is staff's
recommendation that the bid of Excellance, Inc., be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the San Rafael City
Council that staff is hereby authorized to purchase two (2) new
1994 Ford ambulances form Excellance, Inc., for the price of
$176,676.00 as set forth in their bid dated June 20, 1994.
I, JEANNE M. LEONCINI, Clerk of the City of San Rafael,
hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly
introduced and adopted at a regular meeting of the Council of said
City on Tuesday, the 5th day of July, 1994, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: COUNCILMEMBERS:Heller, Thayer, Zappetini & Mayor Boro
NOES: COUNCILMEMBERS:None
